Christy E. Cavazos Wright
Chief Executive Office and Principle Owner of Texas Appraisal Team, a full service real estate consulting and appraisal firm. Mrs. Wright is in charge of the day-to-day operations of the business. Mrs. Wright has a Bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. Mrs. Wright was also the Principal of Wright Innovations, a construction and real estate investment company that was based in Fort Worth, Texas. Mrs. Wright's primary responsibilities include accounting, customer relations, and logistics. Mrs. Wright has testified as an expert witness on numerous occasions in various courts of law.
Aaron H. Wright, MAI, R/W-AC
Executive Director for Texas Appraisal Team, a full service real estate consulting and appraisal firm. Mr. Wright has been appraising real estate since May 2005 and is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in the State of Texas. Mr. Wright's responsibilities include appraisal and appraisal review of all types of properties. Mr. Wright has testified as an expert witness regarding real property value on numerous occasions in various courts of law. Prior to appraisal, Mr. Wright was the Principal of Wright Innovations, a construction and real estate investment company based in Fort Worth, Texas. Mr. Wright has performed valuation, consulting services and review on various properties including, but not limited to, shopping centers, apartment complexes, industrial facilities, raw and developed land, office towers and complexes, motels, hotels, residential and mixed-use developments. Mr. Wright has worked on numerous unique valuations, such as utility corridors, easement interests, partial and undivided interests, and billboards. Mr. Wright holds a MAI Designation from the Appraisal Institute and a Right of Way Appraisal Certification from the International Right of Way Association.
Matthew A. Sims, R/W-AC
Matthew A. Sims is an Appraiser and Director of Commercial Texas Appraisal Team, a full service real estate consulting and appraisal firm. Mr. Sims has been appraising real estate since March 2008 and is General Appraiser in the State of Texas and Oklahoma. Mr. Sims’ responsibilities include appraisal of all types of properties and day to day operations of Texas Appraisal Team. Mr. Sims has testified as an expert witness regarding real property value on numerous occasions in various courts of law. Mr. Sims has assisted in valuations of various properties including raw and developed land, apartment complexes, office buildings, convenience stores, restaurants, industrial facilities, shopping centers, mixed-use and special-purpose properties. Mr. Sims worked on numerous unique valuations such as utility corridors, easement interests, partial and undivided interests. Mr. Sims also holds a Real Estate Agent License and a Property Tax Consultant License. Mr. Sims holds a Right of Way Appraisal Certification from the International Right of Way Association.

Leo M. Sumner is an Appraiser and Director of Commercial for Texas Appraisal Team, a full service real estate consulting and appraisal firm. Mr. Sumner has been appraising real estate since May 2019 and is Appraiser Trainee in the State of Texas. Mr. Sumner's responsibilities include appraisal of all types of properties and day to day operations of Texas Appraisal Team. Mr. Sumner has assisted in valuations of various properties including raw and developed land, apartment complexes, office buildings, convenience stores, restaurants, industrial facilities, shopping centers, mixed-use and special-purpose properties. Mr. Sumner worked on numerous unique valuations such as utility corridors, easement interests, partial and undivided interests. Mr. Sumner has testified as an expert witness on numerous occasions in various courts of law. Mr. Sumner holds a Real Estate Broker License. Prior to joining Texas Appraisal Team, Mr. Sumner worked for The City of Fort Worth as a Land Agent. Mr. Sumner also worked for a Right of Way firm in Fort Worth for over a year. Mr. Sumner holds a Right of Way - Negotiation/Acquisition Certified from the International Right of Way Association.
Amber Dean
Mrs. Dean is a Director for Texas Appraisal Team, a full service real estate consulting and appraisal firm. Prior to joining Texas Appraisal Firm in 2011, Mrs. Dean worked for an appraisal firm in Fort Worth for two and a half years. Prior to appraisal, she was in the residential real estate market for a number of years. Mrs. Dean has assisted in valuations of various properties including raw and developed land, apartment complexes, office buildings, convenience stores, restaurants, industrial facilities, shopping centers, mixed-use and special-purpose properties. Mrs. Dean has testified as an expert witness regarding real property value on numerous occasions in various courts of law. Mrs. Dean worked on numerous unique valuations such as utility corridors, easement interests, partial and undivided interests.
Lee D. Patterson, LNFA
Lee D. Patterson is a Director for Texas Appraisal Team, a full service real estate consulting and appraisal firm. Mr. Patterson is a Appraiser-Trainee and started with Texas Appraisal Team in March of 2020. Mr. Patterson holds a Licensed Nursing Facility Administrator (LFNA Number 9728) certification and is an expert in Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living and Independent Living Retirement communities. Prior to Texas Appraisal Team, Mr. Patterson worked as the Executive Director of Trinity Terrace in Downtown Fort Worth from 2007-2018. Lee D. Patterson has led multiple feasibility and valuation of various expansion and development projects. Mr. Patterson’s experience spans from determining operational feasibility, preconstruction design, marketability, demand and financing. Lee D. Patterson has executed land assemblies conceptual design and overseen construction from ground floor until completion of multi-unit urban high rise living apartment complexes. In addition, Lee D. Patterson has proficient knowledge of ADA and Center of Medicare and Medicaid regulations, Life Safety Code requirements as it pertains to Skilled Nursing Homes, Assisted Living and Memory Care Facilities as well as the constructional requirements for licensure. Lee’s expertise lies in day-to-day business operations of the long-term care industry which earned and maintained an investment grade Fitch Rating of BBB+ Outlook Stable throughout multiple expansions. Mr. Patterson has testified as an expert witness on numerous occasions in various courts of law.

Dan Wright is an Analyst for Texas Appraisal Team, a full service real estate consulting and appraisal firm. Mr. Wright provides research assistance and support for Texas Appraisal Team. In addition, Mr. Wright operates an insurance adjusting company and has over 40 years experience in the heavy equipment field.
Eileen Wright is an Analyst for Texas Appraisal Team, a full service real estate consulting and appraisal firm. Mrs. Wright provides research assistance and support for Texas Appraisal Team. Mrs. Wright has prior experience in the banking and mortgage companies.
